Heat
Treating
Aeron Group has heat treat capabilities for meeting and certifying
to AMS 2770H and to other specifications with customer specific
approval. Our heat treating equipment pyrometry is certified to
the requirements of AMS 2750D and verification is performed per
AMS 2658 using percent conductivity and hardness testing (Rockwell
B or C scale).
The following are current heat treat capabilities:
• Alloys: Aluminum 2XXX, 6XXX and 7075 (Bare or Cladded)
• Tempers: T4, T42, T6 and T62
• Anneal: Only to remove cold working during processing.
• Cross Section Thickness: 0.250” and less
• Quench Solution: Water
• Environment: Atmosphere
• Maximum Oven Size: 48” x 48”
